Today, Avala Studios’ repository consists of 25,000 costumes and 5,000 small props. Around 90% of the costumes and 80% of the props have now been restored.
Avala Studios’ repository revitalisation project has been ongoing since Sebre acquired the company in 2015. With the support of renowned local experts in costume design and scenography, our team has been working to identify, select, and preserve the most important and valuable pieces in our collection, such as genuine military equipment from the First World War and costumes and props seen on screen in various Avala Film productions.
Avala Studios’ repository is also known for its extensive use of natural materials and patinated garments. Throughout the project, the team at Avala Studios has developed a rich base of practical and theoretical knowledge through teamwork, strong spirit, and passion for exploration, learning, and achievement.
